Devil - Official Trailer [HD]
The trailer begins with the camera over the city, but it is upside down. This change creates a strong feeling of unease in the viewer. Common of the horror genre.
The music in the trailer is soft. The opposite to what is expected of the horror genre, as soft music connotes innocence and peace.
The trailer often has periods of complete blackness, where we just hear what's going on e.g. screaming. This is unusual for a trailer as people can lose interest if they're not seeing anything, but the screaming is consistant with horror genre conventions.
